Rental Information

If you're interested in renting an apartment at the Port Washington Apartments, please note the following:

  • Rental rates: From $1,250 to $1,800 per month, depending on the unit
  • Refundable security deposits: Equal to one month's rent
  • Non-refundable deposits: $250
  • Lease terms: 1 year
  • Utilities: Tenant is responsible for paying their own electricity bill to PSE directly. Other utilities may be included in the rent or switched to a RUBS (ratio utility billing system) in the future.

Qualifying to Rent

To be accepted as a resident at the Port Washington Apartments, all applicants must meet certain guidelines. These include:

  • Identification: Government-issued ID (driver's license, passport, or military ID)
  • Rental history: Good prior property manager references
  • Credit history: Good credit history showing ability to pay bills on time
  • Income qualification: Annual rent cannot exceed 40% of gross annual household income
  • Proof of employment with paystuffs
  • Behavior: No smokers allowed; serious criminal history is not tolerated
  • Animals: One cat or bird; no dogs, unless ESA-certified
  • Occupancy: Maximum of two persons
