Meet Our Founder

Joan Laguatan, the founder of Canvass Properties, is a San Francisco native and a seasoned real estate broker with over a decade of experience in the industry. She holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco and has closed hundreds of transactions across eight Bay Area counties. Joan's clients range from companies, lenders, institutions, investors, individuals, and families.

In addition to her work at Canvass Properties, Joan is also an active member of the community. She sits on the boards of nonprofits SF Sinai Memorial and senior affordable housing development Menorah Park. Joan is passionate about giving back to the community and supporting animal welfare causes.
