Security Concerns
Several residents have expressed concerns about the lack of security at The Hills Apartments. Yenifer Perez, who has lived there for 4 years, has seen her coworker's car broken into three times, and even witnessed a group of teens breaking into cars. Cassie Villanueva, who updated her review in 2022, mentioned that her car got broken into twice and someone's window got smashed. Updates in 2022 and 2023 reveal further concerns about car break-ins, including a gas tank being drilled into. This absence of security measures has left residents worrying about their car's safety.
Friendly Community
However, many residents have given glowing reviews about the friendly community and staff at The Hills Apartments. Kailey Michelle, who has lived there for a year, has found it to be a "safe home" with helpful leasing agents (Kaitlyn) and maintenance personnel (Gerett). Steven Blazekovic, who delivered a bedroom set to the apartment, praised the place for its warm atmosphere. Lindsey Bergsma, another resident, praised the friendly staff, including Laurie and Danny, who are always willing to help. Stacey Heilman, who has been living there since March, has had an awesome experience with excellent customer service from maintenance personnel, Danny.
Parking and Maintenance
Residents have generally been pleased with the ample parking spaces and the maintenance of the apartments. Juan Pereira, who lived there for a while, mentioned that the maintenance was pretty good, with the maintenance guy showing up quickly to fix issues. However, Cassie Villanueva has expressed concerns about the lack of security cameras.
Negative Experiences
Some residents have reported negative experiences. Shaded Laughter had a terrible experience with neighbors, including one who pulled a gun out, making them feel unsafe. Shane Rucker was frustrated with the billing and autopay system, feeling overcharged. Albert B. Castanon Iv expressed annoyance with a firepit being closed during winter.
