Jackson Hole Sotheby's International Realty is the largest and most successful real estate brokerage in the valley, boasting an in-depth understanding of the local real estate market and enduring ties throughout the Jackson Hole region. With a rich history spanning over 80 years, our brokerage was founded in 1935 by broker Mike Yokel as Jackson Hole Realty, the first established real estate brokerage in the valley. In 1963, the brokerage became a subsidiary of the Jackson Hole Ski Corporation with Paul McCollister as broker, two agents, and a single office located at the base of the iconic Clock Tower. This entwines our own history with that of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. The late 1970s and early 1980s saw the brokerage move into town, followed by a merger with Hoke Tice Realty in 1983, commencing a new chapter in the valley's real estate history. Between 1983 and 2002, Jackson Hole Realty grew with the market, expanding from twenty-two to eighty-four agents, sixteen additional partners, and satellite offices across the valley and over Teton Pass in Driggs, Idaho. In 2005, Jackson Hole Realty was purchased by Sotheby's International Realty and began operating as Jackson Hole Sotheby's International Realty.
