Real Estate Club

Founded in the late 1970s, the Real Estate Club at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is one of the largest student-run organizations on campus. Our mission is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the real estate industry, while fostering a network of professionals and providing opportunities for students to engage with industry leaders.

Speaker Series

Every month, the Real Estate Club hosts Thursday night meetings with guest speakers from the industry. Our speaker series provides a platform for students to learn from experienced professionals and network with like-minded individuals. Past speakers have included professionals from top-tier companies such as JLL, Ernst & Young, and Wells Fargo.

Innovator Award

In partnership with the Graaskamp Center for Real Estate, the Real Estate Club awards the Innovator Award to recognize industry professionals who have made a significant impact in the real estate world. Past recipients have included Goldie Wolfe Miller, Michael Toolis, David Brain, and Ryan Williams.

Local Market Tours

Each semester, the Real Estate Club organizes local market tours to cities such as Chicago, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis. These tours provide students with the opportunity to meet local alumni, visit new real estate projects, and connect with local professionals.

Real Estate Club Trips

The Real Estate Club offers annual trips to cities such as New York City, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and Denver. These trips provide students with the chance to learn about different real estate markets, network with Wisconsin alumni, and build relationships with local professionals.

MBA and MSRE Mentorship Program

The Real Estate Club's MBA and MSRE Mentorship Program pairs undergraduate students with MBA and Master's of Real Estate mentors for the semester. This program provides students with guidance on course selection, internship opportunities, and career advice.

Career Fair

The Real Estate Career Fair is held twice a year, in the fall and spring semesters, providing students with the opportunity to network with recruiters and learn about job opportunities in the real estate industry.
