Founded by Alton Whittemore, the company has continued to operate under the same values of honesty, integrity, and superior service. In 1977, Van Ames purchased the company and has since maintained the same high standards. Our Team

We have a team of full-time real estate professionals who are dedicated to meeting your real estate goals. Our team includes Van Ames, the Broker/Owner, who has been in the business for over 50 years. Jennifer Ames serves as the Office Manager, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Garrett Quinn, a native of Skowhegan, is a Broker/Partner who has earned his license and become a partner in the firm. Jim LeClair is an Associate Broker/Partner who brings years of sales experience to the table. Lastly, Katie Quinn is a Broker who has quickly built a reputation based on hard work and diligence.
