Who We Are

At UPholdings, we are dedicated to creating, operating, and sustaining high-quality affordable housing in communities throughout the United States. As a comprehensive real estate firm, we are committed to being community partners who are in it for the long run. Our founders, co-owners Cullen J. Davis and Jessica Hoff Berzac, created this firm with the mission of providing housing for the most vulnerable residents in the community. This vision spans from inception through the life of each project, which is often at least 30 years and beyond.

As a partner for communities, we work through nonprofit and social service collaborations, tenant engagement services, and long-term asset management services. Our team is deeply committed to working with the most vulnerable community members on a continuous and long-term basis. We believe that housing is the foundation for wellness and opportunity for both individuals and families. At UPholdings, we believe that everyone has a right to high-quality and accessible housing.

Create, Operate, and Sustain

Our company is built on the continuum of professional services offered through our legacy organizations: UP Development LLC (UPD) - CREATE, UPA, LLC (UPA) - OPERATE, and UPholdings, LLC - SUSTAIN. As a comprehensive real estate firm, we specialize in affordable, public, and mixed-income housing management. We develop, manage, and own a diverse portfolio of properties, including high-rise apartment buildings, single-family subdivisions, and walk-up buildings for various population groups across the country.
