Need an Appraisal? With our in-house appraisal division, you have access to certified, experienced appraisers. We specialize in 1-4 family residential properties in Allegheny, Washington, and Westmoreland Counties. A professional appraisal may be required for property tax appeals, pre-sales decisions, estate or probate planning, liquidation, divorce, and more. We work with banks and lenders to provide a professional, competent, and accurate appraisal of property value, with careful attention to our clients' needs.

About Us

All in the Family As Jefferson Hills Real Estate enters its third generation, one thing is clear: real estate is in our blood. In 1957, Martin W. Dowling and Celine M. Dowling founded Jefferson Hills Real Estate to serve Allegheny, Washington, and Westmoreland Counties. Martin, our father, was a custom home builder and developer. He had two offices, one for real estate and one for construction. With us, their daughters, Martin and Celine ensured that the brokerage would remain in the family. Sisters Michele and Patricia have carried on the legacy, and kept JHRE as a family-run business. With Michele's daughter, Ashley, we have a third generation starting!

Our Legacy

Michele and Patricia have kept the agency independent, not corporate. This has given us the freedom to make the choices that will best serve our clients. We have no overhead or payment to a corporate entity, which means you don't see unnecessary fees. We work with buyers and sellers of both residential and commercial properties, handling everything from small single-family homes to large warehouses, and everything in between.
