The Glen at Old Town Apartments has a great location, and surprisingly, it's not the worst place to stay. The maintenance team responds efficiently and does a good job of keeping up with the repairs, although it's often just patch jobs, especially when it comes to plumbing.
Untrustworthy Leasing Agents
However, there are several issues with the leasing agents, who have been accused of practicing "bait and switch" sales tactics. They have been known to advertise available apartments, only to claim they are no longer available after an application has been submitted. They also try to bully residents into signing leases with the wrong move-in dates, lease terms, and units.
Poor Communication and Unhelpful Property Manager
There are also issues with communication and the property manager. Residents have reported being told that issues will be fixed, only to find out that they haven't been resolved. The property manager has also been unhelpful in resolving issues, and some residents have even had their credit scores impacted by mistakes made by the property management team.
Problems with Apartments
Residents have reported various problems with their apartments, including holes in the cabinet base, exposed insulation, bugs, and poor plumbing. The air conditioning intake can also be a problem, as it often pumps cold air into neighboring walls.
