Gillett Commercial is a dedicated, client-focused commercial real estate development and brokerage firm, with licenses in both California and Texas. Our team is led by Bucky Gillett and Kirstin Emershaw, two seasoned professionals with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the commercial real estate industry. Gillett Commercial has the ability to create customized plans and strategies for our clients within the various services that we offer.

Our company was founded in 1997 in Costa Mesa, California by Bucky Gillett. Prior to establishing Gillett Commercial, Bucky had worked as an Industrial Broker at Bishop Hawk and Lee & Associates Companies, and he was the Director of Industrial Properties Leasing for Transtar Commercial Real Estate. The original focus of our company was threefold, with the intent of concentrating on industrial brokerage, property management, as well as investment and development opportunities.

Gillett Commercial expanded significantly with the addition of Kirstin Emershaw in 2009. Kirstin brought her extensive experience and knowledge of the entitlement and development business to the table. Together, they combine over 50 years of experience in the development, brokerage, and management of industrial and office properties.

In 2013, Gillett began creating partnerships for the acquisition and rehabilitation of industrial properties, and in 2016, the company expanded its reach to the DFW metroplex where it currently focuses on the development of industrial and office properties, as well as property management and consulting services. Currently, there are office locations in Southern California and North Texas. The California locations include the cities of Costa Mesa and City of Industry, which serve all of the Southern California commercial markets. The office in McKinney, Texas serves the DFW metroplex.

• Kirstin Emershaw: Managing Partner - Kirstin joined Gillett Commercial in 2009 and brought her vast experience and knowledge of the entitlement and development business to the table. She has been a key player in the company's expansion and growth.

• Dennis Pender: Senior Vice President - Dennis has over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry and has been with Gillett Commercial since 2011. He specializes in brokerage and property management.

• Ashley Lawson: Assistant Property Manager - Ashley has been with Gillett Commercial since 2015 and assists with property management and day-to-day operations.
