Our Story

For over a century, Coldwell Banker Benton-Luttrell Realtors has been a trusted name in North Texas real estate. Our journey began in the early 20th century when R.S. Fulton established the R.S. Fulton Agency in Van Alstyne, Texas. As the town grew and prospered, Fulton's agency expanded its services to include real estate, and in 1890, the agency was born.

Our History

Our rich history is intertwined with that of the communities we serve. Over the years, our family-owned and operated business has been shaped by the dedication and hard work of multiple generations. W.D. Benton, Fulton's nephew, joined the business in 1900 and eventually took over the agency. Under Benton's leadership, the agency flourished, and his daughter, Billie Benton Whitaker, ran the agency after his passing in 1945.
