Management Issues
Many reviewers had issues with the management of the Grove Place Apartments. Some reported that the staff was unresponsive, unhelpful, or even rude. Angel Gonzalez and Nicole both gave the apartments a low rating due to the lack of competent management. Nicole specifically stated that the apartments were "just ghetto and unprofessional" and advised others not to waste their money. Harry Delgado had an even more extreme experience, claiming that the management was so ineffective that he felt unsafe and had to report numerous incidents of crime and disorder to the authorities.
Maintenance Issues
There were also issues with maintenance, with reviewers reporting that requests for repairs were often ignored or unaddressed. Edgar Borjas reported that maintenance personnel, including Mario, were unreliable and often failed to show up for scheduled appointments. Jovita N. mentioned that the gates had been broken for over a year, leading to security issues.
Safety Concerns
Several reviewers raised concerns about safety at the apartments. Nicole reported that the area was "ghetto" and had problems with crime, while Harry Delgado detailed a litany of security issues, including gun violence, car theft, and break-ins. Jovita N. also reported feeling unsafe due to the broken gates and high incidence of break-ins. Drely Jackson II was particularly concerned about the presence of a "trap house" near the office, which they believed was a source of noise and disruption.
Positive Experiences
However, not all reviewers had negative experiences. Many praised the staff, citing helpfulness, friendliness, and professionalism. Dolores Garcia reported that the staff quickly responded to her needs when she lost her car key. Denise Shields had a positive experience at the apartments, citing the convenience of the location and the spaciousness of her apartment.
