Steps to Obtaining Your License

The process of obtaining your real estate license can seem overwhelming, but it's broken down into simple steps. Here's what you need to do:

1. Within 90 days of registering for the 48-Hour Salesperson Pre-Examination Course, complete the 48-Hour Salesperson Pre-Examination Course.

2. In any order, within six months of completing the pre-exam licensing course, take and complete the 24-Hour Missouri Real Estate Practice Course, pass the state-administered licensing examination, and complete a fingerprinting background check.

3. Within six months of completing the pre-exam licensing course, select a broker and apply for a license.
