Our History

NAI CIR was founded in 1970 as Commercial Industrial Realty by Gary Nalbandian and Bill Siverling. In 1977, Jim Ross joined the firm, followed by Craig Rahn in 1978. In 1985, NAI CIR became a member of NAI Global, one of the largest commercial real estate services organizations in the world. This partnership enabled NAI CIR to expand its reach and capabilities while maintaining its local roots and expertise.

NAI CIR has a long history of success and innovation. In 1986, we leased 230,000 SF of office space in the former Senate Plaza within six months. In 1996, NAI CIR won the NAI Global President's Award for the Most Significant Transaction in the US. In 2000, we launched Central PA's first exclusively commercial/industrial real estate website. In 2002, Robin Zellers joined NAI CIR as Chief Operating Officer, followed by Nik Sgagias in 2009. In 2013, Robin Zellers was named Chairman of the NAI Global Leadership Board. In 2015, Nik Sgagias was named partner in NAI CIR, and Casey Khuri joined the firm. In 2017, NAI CIR completed the Comcast transaction on 2801 Valley Road, the largest office transaction in the US among cooperating SIOR professionals.
