At Saddle Creek Apartments in downtown Kalamazoo, we are proud to present a unique and luxurious apartment community that sets a new standard for condo-style rental living in the greater Kalamazoo area. With a rich history dating back to 1838, our property was once a thriving farm, and we have carefully preserved many of its original features, including the 13-stall horse barn, silo, caretaker's house, and horse shoe shed. Our mission is to provide a peaceful and serene living environment that combines the charm of the past with the comfort and amenities of modern living.
Our Unique Features
One of the unique features that sets us apart is our "condo style" construction, which provides superior sound conditioning and a quieter living experience. Our 2x6 walls and oversized 2-inch concrete floors, along with thick batten insulation, effectively minimize sound travel between apartment homes. We also offer oversized garages (optional) with electric lighting and wider (9-foot) garage doors for ease of parking.
Limited Access and Private Amenities
At Saddle Creek Apartments, we prioritize the privacy and security of our residents. Our limited access entryways and electronic gates provide a secure and peaceful living environment. Our spacious and well-designed apartments feature large private screened porches, perfect for enjoying the natural beauty of our surroundings. These porches are available for our residents to enjoy, and they offer breathtaking views of the marsh and seasonal water.
Community Living
Our community is specifically designed to provide a sense of belonging and tranquility. With only 106 apartment homes, we maintain a low density and a limited number of residents, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the peace and quiet that our surroundings have to offer. We also offer a 700-acre Al Sabo Nature Preserve, which is exclusively reserved for our residents to enjoy.

Our accredited onsite management team has over 100 years of technical support staff experience, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of customer satisfaction.
