Problematic Leasing Office
The reviewers have mentioned that the leasing office is unprofessional and dishonest. Janaa Howard experienced poor service, being told to pay a $15 money order and fill out an application without being told when or if she would be accepted. She also mentioned being told not to call the office, but the number was not in service. Ss M. M. had a similar experience, stating that the management is mean and nasty, and the price for the space is too small.
Unpleasant Living Conditions
The reviewers have also complained about the living conditions in Prairie Estates. Janaa Howard mentioned being unaware that the property accepts cash as well, which she found unusual. Ss M. M. mentioned that the property is poorly insulated, causing hard times to keep rooms heated or cooled. They also mentioned that the garages are cold and not insulated, and that the carpets are poor. Julia Sallie experienced a garbage disposal issue that was not addressed promptly.
New Management Turnaround
However, some reviewers have had positive experiences with the new management. Cory Hunt praised the new team in the office, stating that they helped with issues in their unit. Tae R. mentioned that Property Manager Lyric was professional and had excellent customer service. Starr Kind praised Lyric as well, saying she was kind and professional and went above and beyond to meet their needs. Ray Family mentioned that Elize, the property manager, was great, and that the maintenance staff, Ernesto, were trying to keep the property up to part. Julia Sallie only gave a low rating because of her poor experience with the previous management, but she mentioned that Latezia, the new manager, has been doing a great job.
