Building Quality Homes for Over 115 Years
Hickok-Dible, founded in 1904, is Kansas City's oldest existing real estate development company. Our mission, since the Company's inception, has been to provide beautiful, comfortable, top-quality homes for people in the Kansas City area. In its over 115 years of operation, Hickok-Dible has developed over seven thousand living units. The Company was founded by one of Kansas City's most prolific home developers/builders, N.W. Dible who built over 5,000 homes in Kansas City. From the classic 'Dible Tudor' homes that line Kansas City's famous Ward Parkway, to countless luxury apartments and townhomes, Hickok-Dible has always been synonymous with quality construction and optimum value.
Over the last few decades, under the leadership of Tim Hickok, Dible's great-grandson, Hickok-Dible has focused on the multifamily industry - building and managing over a dozen apartment and townhome complexes across the Midwest. Today, Hickok-Dible owns and manages Pinegate West, Fleming Court, and the Mansions at Canyon Creek Apartments. Through the next generation of leadership, Hickok-Dible is committed to carrying on the legacy of providing excellent construction and an unparalleled renting experience.

Our History
*NW DIBLE, Founder*
N.W. Dible, founder of Hickok-Dible, started building Tudor homes in 1904 and quickly became one of the biggest developers of his time. Dible is renowned for building over 5,000 houses in the Kansas City area. The "Dible Tudor" remains today a highly coveted home style prevalent across dozens of South Kansas City neighborhoods.
*"One just has to look around to see Kansas City has one of the best and the most numerous collections of Tudors anywhere in America, "* says Mike Tecton, a house-plan book publisher in Virginia and a Tudor Revival expert. Almost all the homes he meticulously crafted in the early to mid-1920s still remain today and continue to carry on his legacy of well-built, affordable, attractive homes.
*CO-PRESIDENTS BILL AND JACK HICKOK, 1960*
After Dible's death in 1960, the company was taken over by his two grandsons, Bill and Jack Hickok, who changed the name of the company to the name we know it as today, Hickok-Dible.
