Maintenance and Staff
The maintenance team at South Fork has received high praise from several residents. Tommy and Joey from the maintenance crew were described as efficient, professional, and friendly, getting the job done quickly and with a positive attitude.
Amenities and Location
The complex is considered dog-friendly, with residents enjoying the amenities such as the pool, workout room, and hot tub. The location is also praised for being convenient and having a sense of community.
Management Issues
However, there are reports of poor management practices, with some residents feeling misled and taken advantage of. Robert, a former resident, was charged a $250 "professional cleaning fee" despite leaving his apartment in good condition, and was told he was lucky the charge wasn't higher. Stephanie had a similar experience, being charged for carpet cleaning and paint despite leaving the unit in better condition than when they moved in.
Other Concerns
Kevin expressed frustration with the upkeep of the complex, citing drainage issues with the parking lots and the lack of maintenance in general. Jessie, on the other hand, praised the management team for their help and patience in getting their account set up.
