At Spinnaker Real Estate Partners, we are a privately owned, commercial real estate company based in Fairfield County, Connecticut. We are a highly regarded company in the industry, and we are committed to the communities where we operate. Our mission is to create vibrant communities through the development of mixed-use, commercial, and multi-family properties throughout the United States. We achieve this by combining high design standards with a culture of collaboration, which allows us to forge private/public partnerships with stakeholders.

Our experienced team has developed over 7,500 housing units nationally, with concentrations in the Northern suburbs of New York City and Portland, Oregon. Our portfolio also includes over 4,000,000 square feet of office, industrial, hotel, and adaptive-reuse projects.

At Spinnaker Real Estate Partners, we have a team of over 75 professionals who pride themselves in doing the difficult jobs that make a difference in the communities where we work. Our team includes seasoned executives with decades of experience in real estate development, construction, and property management.

  • Clay Fowler, Chairman & CEO, has over 40 years of experience in the real estate industry and has led Spinnaker's work in building over 7,500 housing units nationally.
  • Kim Morque, President & Principal, has over 35 years of experience in real estate development, construction, and property management.
  • Matthew Edvardsen, Principal, has over 15 years of experience in real estate development and has been responsible for the deal sourcing, structuring, planning, permitting, construction oversight, and asset management of developments exceeding $750,000,000 in stabilized value.
  • John Wilcox, Chief Financial Officer, has over 30 years of experience in capital markets focused on commercial real estate and has expertise in bankruptcy and restructuring, note acquisitions, and asset management.
  • Staci H. Bachman, Executive Vice President of Legal Affairs & General Counsel, has over 30 years of experience in representing and advising commercial real estate developers, lenders, joint ventures, landlords, and tenants.
  • Frank Caico, Vice President of Development, has over 20 years of experience in real estate acquisition and development with a focus on multifamily and mixed-use communities.
  • Cynthia Edvardson, Treasurer, has over 15 years of experience in finance and accounting and has oversight of all financial and administrative matters of the company.
