Poor Living Conditions and Unprofessional Management
The reviewers of Saddleback Ranch apartments in Mission Viejo, CA, had overwhelmingly negative experiences with the property. They described the buildings as being in disrepair, with mold, weak infrastructure, and creaking buildings. The doors and windows are old and don't align, allowing critters to enter the apartments.
Unprofessional and Abusive Staff
The management and staff were accused of being dishonest, gossipy, and mentally unstable. They were said to use physical violence to control tenants and had no issue with vandalizing tenants' vehicles. The manager was accused of telling methamphetamine dealers that she didn't like one of the tenants, leading to harassment and vandalism.
Criminal Activity and Corruption
The reviewers reported incidents of methamphetamine production on the premises, with neighbors cooking meth on weekends. The reviewers' vehicles were vandalized, with screws in the tire and Gatorade poured on the windshield. The management was accused of colluding with corrupt police officers to file false charges against tenants.
